AGK has two major fundraising events each year: Goldens in the Park is held in June, and Barktoberfest is held in October. These two events are dog and child friendly and allow us to gather in community with other golden lovers while raising much needed funds! Some of our goldens come to us with significant medical and training needs from years of neglect or abuse, and the proceeds from these events help cover the medical and training costs. We always need silent auction items and volunteers for these events and welcome your help – just send an email to info@adoptagoldenknoxville.org and let us know how you would like to be involved. Information about sponsorship opportunities will be available ahead of each of these events.
Meet & Greets give people an opportunity to meet some of our orphan goldens and ask questions about the dogs and the adoption process. Dates, times, and locations for Meet and Greet events will be listed on our website when available.
We also participate in community events each year that help raise funds for AGK and awareness of our mission in the community.

Barktoberfest is the annual fall event hosted by AGK for families and their sweet, sociable dogs. All proceeds from this event go toward helping AGK continue its mission to rescue and rehome golden retrievers in need. This event offers food truck delicacies, a silent auction, activities, games, and live music.
