Fosters
Fosters are the backbone of AGK and essential to our success! The primary function of a foster includes taking Golden Retrievers into their home for at least one week to help evaluate their behavior, habits, and health. Fosters provide love, patience, and simple training to help the golden learn to trust and establish relationships with other dogs and people.
Sometimes AGK has dogs with serious medical needs who are not considered adoptable. Forever Fosters provide loving homes to these dogs for the rest of their lives. AGK pays all medical bills for Forever Fosters, and the foster home provides food, toys, a bed, and love. If you are interested in becoming a Regular Foster or a Forever Foster, fill out the foster application.
